Campaign Series Vietnam — is a new turn-based tactical operational war game about mid-20th century conflicts in Southeast Asia. The series tells about the battles from 1948 to 1967. Each scenario is played out on a unique historical map with nine viewing modes. Scenario maps are based on topographic maps of that period, created on a hexagonal grid. Hexes 250 meters in diameter. Each scenario is based on a carefully crafted historical battle and has a different number of moves in which you and your opponent try to score maximum points, usually destroying enemy forces or capturing objects. The game features a variety of combat situations, including fire base defense, helicopter air strikes, counter-battles, trench defense, armored breakthroughs, battles for depletion, mobile defense, search and destruction, and more.

Campaigns in Vietnam presents a wide range of new units with special capabilities, such as helicopters, river units, tunnel rats, civilians and supply units. New tactical realities include flight restrictions, restricted areas, improvised explosive devices and hidden minefields, tunnels and unconventional fighting. The mechanism of events in the campaign series has been significantly expanded. The dynamic nature of Scripted AI offers a whole new experience and challenge when playing against a computer opponent. The event points system allows players to earn winning points for completing tasks, not just for achieving goals and making losses. There are four simple Boot Camp scenarios designed specifically for beginners, with step-by-step instructions for the game. Other scenarios vary in size from very short and only a few units to many dozens of moves and hundreds of units. They can be played against a computer, PBEM, face to face, with a hot seat or on a local network in real time. The game comes with a full set of editors for those who would like to create their own scripts, and a large number of ready-to-use historically accurate master maps of various locations throughout Vietnam.
