Astral Ascent

Astral Ascent — is a side-scrolling action-adventure game with roguelike elements in a fantasy setting. As one of 4 heroes with completely different abilities, you have to escape from the Garden, an astral prison guarded by 12 powerful and cruel bosses, the Zodiacs. Dozens of unique spells for 4 different characters await you. As you progress, you will combine them to defeat the bloodthirsty bosses. Each launch will test your skills and your reactivity. Gameplay mechanics in Astral Ascent are fully consistent with the classic platformer. The character moves through the locations, periodically changing the height and mode of movement.

About This Game

In addition to direct movement, the main tasks include the search and neutralization of enemies. You can do this in different ways, depending on the chosen character. For example, a martial artist specializes in close combat using dashes and speed combinations. Another warrior has the ability to create intangible barrels with colossal damage, and another heroine masterfully wields twin blades. In total, during the passage you will visit 4 unique worlds, where in addition to the main routes there are also hidden passages. There you can not only discover a few secrets or useful things, but also collect information about this world by revealing the lore. Moreover, on the way you will meet a lot of characters with whom you can chat. Most often, such dialogues take place on the eve of important plot events, receiving an important component of the story.
