About This Game

In this game SGS Taipings, you will play as the rebel forces of the Heavenly Kingdom also known as the Taiping and their other allies such as the Nien Bandits against the Qing Dynasty. Other rebellions and foreign interventions will annoy both sides. The script runs from 8 minor moves to over 164 moves in a 13-year major campaign, each a one-month period from April 1851 to December 1864. One player represents the Taiping rebels and their allies, the other the various forces of the Qing Empire. Both have land and naval units under their command and can play diplomatic games with foreign nations.
